About the Research and Strategy Team

The Research and Strategy team leads idgroup’s From the Core® research, a proven stakeholder engagement framework and process that clarifies the organization's intentions, energizes teams and activates action through identity-based corporate and brand strategy.

Experience: 5+ years of experience with a track record of excellence working in the business, non-profit or education sectors. Experience in persuasive writing or brand communications along with a track record in teaching or facilitation is preferred.

Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Management, Organizational Psychology, Education or related degree.

Other: Multilingual, specialized certifications, advanced education or hands on experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Creative Writing, Theatrical Performance orImprov, Research Methods, Appreciative Inquiry-Based Facilitation, Positive Organization Change, Leadership Development, Performance Coaching, Classroom Teaching.

Work Location: This position offers remote work options with requirements to attend regular meetings at idgroup’s Pensacola office and at client offices. This position involves atraining period which requires in-person attendance at sessions held at the idgroup office each month during the first 3-4 months of employment.

Travel: This position involves limited, overnight travel, primarily within the Southeast region of the United States.

Personal presentation and communications:

  • Professional personal appearance
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Writing:

  • Creative writing
  • Persuasive writing
  • Written translation of research findings into client-facing narratives

Facilitation

  • Lead small and large group of leaders and other organization stakeholders
  • Facilitation planning and delivery

Presentation

  • Client-facing presentation development and delivery
  • Comfortable interacting with C-suite teams

Creative Ideation

  • Generation of creative concepts to inform the development of brand communications campaigns

Creative Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with diverse internal creative teams (writers, designers, copywriters, etc) to deliver excellence.

Added value skills: Basic understanding and experience:

  • Qualitative and Quantitative Research methods
  • Visual presentations of information through PPT or other software
  • Project management
  • Consultative sales skills

Compensation:

  • Salary is commensurate with experience
