We believe in perpetuating the purpose and values of the organization through employees. Team engagement is one of the five core elements we focus on in an effort to elevate our culture together. Today, we wanted to introduce one of our idgroupers, Rebecca McPhail, so you can learn more about our team members.

Q. Where did you grow up?

A: As the daughter of a U.S. Marine, I had the pleasure of growing up across the globe. I was born in North Carolina, attended Kindergarten in Puerto Rico, survived middle school in California, began high school in Belgium, and graduated in Georgia - plus a few more moves in between!

Q. Where do you live currently? What is your favorite thing about the community where you live?

A. I live in Cordova Park. After dealing with the Houston traffic for 12 years, I love living close to everything I need. Our home faces the bayou and I love sitting on my front porch with a beverage and water gazing. It’s also a really active community and I’ve discovered lots of routes to run.

Q. What do you do at idgroup?

A. I’m a Project Manager and Account Support.

Q. How long have you been with idgroup?

A. 10 months.

Q. What certain core values do you have in common with idgroup?

A. I appreciate idgroup’s Appreciative Worldview and Reciprocal Responsibility.

Q. What is your motto?

A. “Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it yet.” L. M. Montgomery

Q. What is your favorite thing to do?

A. I love planning (and taking) trips with my family, reading, running, and baking.

Q. Tell us about your lovely kiddos.

A. I am a mama of two boys - Valen (9) and Lachlan (7). As an only child, it is incredible to watch them grow and experience life together. They keep me humble and continue to teach me about myself and the world around me.

Q. We heard you had a new addition to the family, tell us about it!

A. Last year our family adopted a rambunctious young labrador from the shelter in Mobile. Duncan is just as outgoing and goofy as the rest of my little clan and arguably is the happiest to see me when I get home from work each day.
