Raising funds to propel a University forward requires inspiration. Inspiration for those still active on campus and those who may have moved on but still reserve a special place in their hearts. For UWF, the recent campaign launch was intended to resonate with both.
“Here for Good” is the capital campaign designed by the University of West Florida to raise funds in four areas of support: People (all scholarships and faculty support), Programs (all academic athletic non-scholarship initiatives), Place (all physical spaces and named programs), and Community (all community initiatives).
idgroup joined the effort by helping to create a complete visual identity, messaging strategy, microsite, videos and print materials to assist UWF in reaching out to and connecting with students, alumni and other potential donors.
Meant to inspire, messaging centered around the idea that an impactful gift to the University creates ripples not only on campus, but in the community and in future generations. Messaging boasted the opportunity to create a legacy allowing future Argos to benefit from the work of today and knowing that the collective WE were Here for Good.
A campaign messaging bank was crafted to guide UWF team members in discussing and promoting the campaign as a whole, and more specifically to showcase the areas of support.
With efforts united and messaging clear, the Here for Good Capital Campaign was intended to be a proclamation. A promise to expand the passion of the Argo community and unleash the best of UWF - now and for future generations.
idgroup joined hundreds on March 11th, 2024, as UWF launched the public phase of the Here For Good Capital Campaign. The largest in University history, it intends to raise $90 million by encouraging gifts of all sizes. Off to a great start, UWF ended their launch gala with millions in gifts already promised.
